    Already in 2019, ISDB Logistik opened a new chapter for its customers with truck transport solutions from/to China. Truck transport on the new Silk Road has numerous advantages in store for customers. First of all, truck transport convinces with the shorter total transport time. Above all, however, with the truck we are opening up a simplified option for transporting dangerous goods, for example, which cannot be transported by ship or train, or only at great expense. In this context, lithium-ion accumulators or batteries are to be mentioned as freight that is increasingly in demand - as supplies for the automotive industry. The "door to door" transport from China to Germany takes place in compliance with high security standards. The loading is personally monitored by ISDB logistics agents in China, the trucks used are manned by two drivers throughout the journey and, of course, are equipped with their own GPS tracking system. In Germany, the customs clearance and complete handover of the goods to the customer is accompanied by ISDB Logistik employees or partners. In addition to proper customs clearance, special attention is paid to adequate insurance coverage for the transport carried out.

    Dangerous goods are hazardous chemical, biological, or even radioactive substances. These substances have to be transported because they are simply needed for our daily lives. Whether for genetic engineering or for research, for nuclear medicine, for drug production, for energy production, for measuring or control technology - these substances are always used and the task of logistics and freight forwarding companies is thus to safely deliver these hazardous goods to their final destination.

All vehicles used feature the latest ADR equipment and comply with international standards. Of course, all of our drivers possess valid ADR certificates. We regularly carry out close as well as random checks and keep the demands on our transports high. Class 1 and 7 dangerous goods are excluded from our transports.
